Apple® iPhone 12 (AT&T)

If producing commercials were to be an Olympic sport, Apple® would be leading with the most medals.


Modern day marketing and advertising takes some skill and talent. Since the debut of the iPhone from Apple®, their products have appealed to every kind of user, from the casual to the superuser, plus their commercials have proven that. It's almost like their commercials don't need explaining nor an introduction.

Often presented and shot in a bright white-colored background, you see the right hand skew the screen into a smaller size, only to pull out a smaller variant of the phone itself. You get the on-screen text describing which is which, and in this case, they advertised the Max and the Mini. You may have noticed the soundtrack being sung with the lyrics, "♩ Hello! Hello! ♪." We found that the song is titled "Hello Hello Hello" by Remi Wolf (Polo & Pan Remix). The timing was perfect, after the phones were presented, Remi singing the "Hello! Hello!" part gives viewers a reminder that they're looking at a phone—a new phone from Apple® (advertised back in 2021).

Only a 15-second advertisement but it's a straight-to-the-point type of approach. No fluff, no hidden messages, suspicious things going on in the background or the text. Makes you wonder why keeping it simple and basic seems to work. Also, the 3D motion effect of pulling the mini phone from the max phone was a nice touch, as it keeps the viewers' attention throughout the whole presentation. Big thumbs up to the director and the motion graphics artists for that!

There isn't too much else to be said other than this was a well-produced ad! Granted, yes, this ad was released and shared online back in 2021, but it's hard to deny Apple®'s clean-cut style of advertising. Even if you don't own an iPhone, at least we can all agree how good their commercials look. We're sure their ads get presented in many Business Marketing for TV/Internet classes.
