Description

Although just a slideshow, this very first project became the seeds that quickly blossomed into a cornucopia that has become a driving passion and a dream come true. According to Kris, the main drive in diving into the dimension of video production was figuring out the importing of raw video onto computer. While rummaging through the technique(s) in doing so, this slideshow began something that was "good enough" for that time. (Being this was made and tried in 2001, video technology for the home creator were very limited, and video capture card devices weren't the hot items at the time, thus being sold in low quantities. Kris' discovery of such device wasn't apparent until much later in the year, spending time crafting simple pieces like these on Windows Movie Maker.)

As for the slideshow, it's about roommate comedy, hit show Three's Company—one of Kris' favorite classic sitcoms of all time. The soundtrack is "Never Had A Dream Come True" by S Club 7—soundtrack was recorded on cassette tape—playing the song from a stereo system, and recorded off the computer mic located atop the monitor via the software. Only a brief snippet of the song was used, as the final delivery of the slideshow came out to only 30 seconds.
