Description

A compilation of game show video clips, using a music track from the hit video game Final Fantasy VIII. This became the very first video-based project executing linear editing via VHS. Clips of the various classic game shows were recorded personally straight off of Game Show Network (prior to being sold to Sony). Wanting to base off of the fun and epic wins from Kris' very own TV game show collection, he wanted to craft and compile the best moments from shows he recorded. The clips featured memorable moments from game shows like Family Feud, Match Game, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, Password Plus, The Price Is Right and many more titles, some rare ones included such as Get Rich Quick!. The clips were recorded and edited linearly using a Quasar VCR, which Kris received as a birthday present that time.

The soundtrack is "The Landing" by Nobuo Uematsu.

"I'm a huge TV game show geek as it was one of the first kind of TV show I'd watch since I was young. This project, however, did help me practice when it came to timing of the clips, cuing them in with the music. I edited this linearly using VHS tapes.

Fast forward to today, I'm still watching game shows, all thanks to BUZZR and Pluto TV."
