Back after a one-week hiatus. How did things fare out? It was a little different, though some surprises happened, it seemed to be yet another day at the office. We believe field goals are becoming more and more glamorized due to strict punishments regarding celebrating touchdowns. Is it that bad? As said in the week prior, these players ought to have their fun when possible; yet due to such rule, games have become "too professional." Players may as well wear suits and ties along with their jersey numbers and surnames on the back. That should do the trick, right?

The game started just fine, though it looked as if Jets had a chance. However, it was nice hearing the term "hat trick" used for TreVeyon Henderson's 3-touchdown score—a term you'd usually hear in hockey. Gradually heading into the fourth quarter, Patriots showed their "patriotism" taking control of the game. Not only that, Patriots hit the "Grand Slam" as this win also covered all three betting sections. Even though it looked like the Jets may try to sneak in a win, Patriots showed they're still #1 in the AFC East.

This game took place in Madrid, Spain. Game started slow in but picked up in the second half; it was very much a field goal game to begin with. A combined two touchdowns between these teams, as it was mostly field goals. That was what helped the Dolphins win as this game went into overtime. That was about it, since there wasn't much else. Miami also hit the "Grand Slam" not only winning this game, but won on all three betting sections as well. At least fans and the teams themselves had a great time in Madrid, but this game was just "another day at work."

Another game that went into overtime, only difference was plenty of touchdowns scored. That made this one of the better games so far. Bijan Robinson scored two touchdowns in the first half, nearly netting that "hat trick." Otherwise, near the end of this game sought more field goals (looks like teams are resorting to field goals in terms of scoring, likely due to the strict rules against celebrating touchdowns). Well Carolina can celebrate as they not only won the game, but hit that "Grand Slam" winning all three betting sections. Panthers fans and bettors won and cashed in a profit.

Even the frigid weather in Buffalo didn't stop them from winning. Buccaneers put up a great fight having led in some possessions. While it was a close game, Bills took control of the game despite trailing. On the betting end, Bills won Money Line and Point Spread. No "Grand Slam" by the Bills, but this was another enjoyable game—worth re-watching if you have NFL+.

Much like the Commanders-Dolphins game, this game was filled with field goals; both teams had a touchdown each. Besides some key sacks, there wasn't much you missed. For betting, no "Grand Slam," but despite losing, Titans won the Point Spread and Total Points. Texans added this win on their record, but bettors for the Titans also won so that balanced out.

Bears were leading all throughout, but Vikings didn't catch up until the fourth quarter. As you may have guessed by now, field goals were key in the Bears' win. Not bad, though, again, this game dragged out until the fourth quarter. Betting were nearly even as you can get, looking at the percentage of bets placed on each team; however, Chicago won Money Line and Point Spread. There aren't much to say more about this game, but it seems field goals are the hottest plays now.

Giants kept up with the Packers just fine until fourth quarter. This game featured impressive touchdown plays and a few missed field goals, but otherwise, great gameplay by both teams. Despite losing, Giants did win Point Spread, via betting, so all was not lost. Still, this game was a slight nail-biter, and another of the better games that Sunday.

Bengals were not far away, then let it slip on the fourth quarter. Poor passes and defense costed the Bengals this game, as Steelers took control. Not only did they take control, Steelers hit the "Grand Slam" via betting as well. It was a good day to be a Steeler.

Here's one of those games that came as a surprise. The Chargers looked like they ran out of electricity, leaving Jaguars to score easily throughout this game. Better yet, Jaguars hit the "Grand Slam" winning all three betting sections. Despite playing at home, Jaguars were the underdog; that meant bettors not only won, but they made some profits. While the blowout came as a shock, bettors on the side of Jaguars made some good money regardless.

Both teams were within distance of each other the entire game. However, the name of this game was interceptions; there were several of them changing the pace of this game. It was a great game in LA, as Seahawks missed that game-winning field goal; though Ram nearly hit the "Grand Slam" via betting. Regardless, this was another fun game.

The 49ers started strong with that amazing 98-yard return. Plenty of great plays on this game; another one we recommend watching again on NFL+. As you can tell, San Francisco were dominant heading into the second half. Marked as favorites, having played in Arizona, San Francisco hit the "Grand Slam" betting winning all three sections. As said earlier, there were plenty of great plays in this game; you may want to watch and enjoy it again.

Shedeur Sanders wasn't enough to handle the Ravens' comeback. Be that as it may, this was a much-needed win for Baltimore being one game behind Pittsburgh in the AFC North. For betting, Ravens won both Money Line and Points Total as there were no "Grand Slam" for them. Still, Baltimore is not far behind leading that AFC North as we're getting closer to postseason.

Things didn't get interesting until the fourth quarter; Broncos didn't score their first touchdown until the third quarter. Chiefs were okay, but something lacked in their gameplay. Nevertheless, Broncos scored the game-winning field goal to wrap things up; Will Lutz was clutch. Better yet, on the betting side, Broncos hit that "Grand Slam." Though it was a home game for Denver, they came in as underdogs and won. Both fans and bettors cleaned house.

If you're an active participant on Yahoo! Sports, you can see this is the first time both teams, via Game Picks, were 50-50. It was a great match-up for Sunday Night. As with some of the games this Sunday, it was slow going. Both teams scored one touchdown each, but as always, field goals were key; and that they showed. Eagles took care of business in a very slow way, but they also hit the "Grand Slam" with betting. This game was okay, but got stale heading into the second half. Anyway, this Philadelphia win likely secures their top spot in the NFC East above Dallas. Speaking of whom...

After the sad news of what happened to Marshawn Kneeland, this was a needed win for Dallas—for his sake. What better way to do so than in the "city of lights?" Well, Raiders looked solid but went dry in the latter part of this game. Cowboys looked like the Cowboys we all know and love. Dallas has another reason to celebrate this win: they hit the "Grand Slam" via betting, coming in as favorites. One of the funny things about this game was ESPN announcer Joe Buck mentioned Wrestlemania will take place in Allegiant Stadium, as if knowing already that Raiders won't stamp a ticket to the Super Bowl this season. Well...

Back after a one-week hiatus, our picks did quite well; though that Chargers-Jaguars game took us by surprise. Otherwise, this wasn't a bad week, though as you can tell that field goals are the thing now. Has American football stylizing themselves similar to basketball? As said earlier, I think this is the case due to strict rules regarding celebrations when scoring touchdowns. Unbelievable, but anyway, we're close to being in the playoffs and teams like Kansas City are in jeopardy. We may very well see a new winner this season.
