Burger King BBQ Sauce
One of the better barbecue sauces available at restaurants that "has it your way!"

Some sauces at fast food restaurants are so good, they deserve their own bottles. Other restaurants have done just that, and perhaps this is a sign that Burger King ought to do the same thing. Let's look at their barbecue sauce.
The taste of this barbecue sauce is quite smoky and a bit tangy: typical of these sauces. Whether you apply this on your burgers or fries, it adds that toasty flavor fitting well with the main course(s) you ordered. This sauce does not have much of a kick, but it's more on the sweet side complimented with that "secret" smoky flavor. According to the ingredients, there is no high fructose corn syrup making this a great choice for your meal(s). As for the packet design, it's basic at best given that how it looks isn't much a concern; they would know that this is barbecue sauce then open it up. Overall, this sauce holds up in terms of flavor, and while some kick would be adequate, it's good enough.
Workers would include sauces like these with your order no problem; rude workers would charge you for one packet of sauce—25¢ each—or not adding one at all. How would you know you'd get sauces like this for free? Some locations feature workers who are kinder than others; such locations also feature managers who are a lot nicer as well. From our personal experience, there are such restaurant workers who provide them kindly, while other locations have workers and managers who are bitter and angry, whilst blaming you for being rude. We have complained about this to Burger King in 2023 and were awarded a $5 voucher as an apology, but never used it as the service was that terrible. After some time away, we found a location whose workers are polite, giving that repeat business that restaurants want to see. We hope that the message of being nice goes a long way; it doesn't cost anything while living in a world where things are expensive.
While other bottled sauces, especially by independent vendors/sellers, are much preferred, the taste you get from this is satisfactory. Even though it could use more kick as mentioned earlier, having a sauce with no high fructose corn syrup makes this a great choice whether it's "for here" or "to go." It also helps if you get this sauce from workers who are kind; stay away from restaurants whose workers and managers are rude from the get-go. Those are people with no purpose in Life; they contribute nothing to anyone nor anything. Anyway, to sum it all up, this sauce is sure to satisfy.

- Sweet, savory taste.
- Readily available at your local Burger King.
- Great for fries and/or your main course ordered from the restaurant.
- Could use a little more kick.
- You either get sauces like this as a compliment or they charge you for it, depending on location and the worker(s).
- Charging for dipping sauce is poor business practice. You might as well charge customers for entering the restaurant and/or drive-thru (no use having it "our way," right?).
