This is a fine product from Granny Goose as the onion pieces themselves aren't too much to dive in, flavor-wise. Whether snacking this by itself, or as a side dish, the onion rings make a neat supplement for your onion cravings.

Granny Goose® does it again, this time with onion ring snacks. Perhaps fans of the popular onion ring brand was getting up there in price (rarely, have we've seen it for sale at popular grocery stores). When that happens, you strike on with a reasonable price trying to be the first choice for onion ring fans. That's what Granny Goose did with this.

In comparison to the popular brand out there, we found this to be less salty yet much softer to chew. The onion rings themselves are quite large but doesn't scrape the gums around your teeth, making this very easy and comforting to snack on. Because of the quality these pieces have, this can serve as a perfect ingredient to a recipes as an alternative to bread crumbs (depending on what you're cooking). Whether you snack on this on its own or use it as an ingredient, the taste is very good and very "onion-y" while the salt content isn't too strong.

Something tells us that Granny Goose may try to produce and sell a Blazin' Hot version of these. Nowadays, lots of snacks that people enjoy also hope to dig in with the spicy aspect of their favorites. With that being said, don't be surprised if a spicy variant of these onion rings suddenly get released and sold.

We highly recommend this new and amazing snack product from Granny Goose! Great snack!

An excellent alternative from the popular, retail brand. Also tastes lighter and less oil-y.

MINUSES

The bag releases an unsatisfying smell upon opening. That smell does not affect the taste of the chips, but it may be due to packaging protocols.
