TWIX Cream Peanut Butter Cookie Bars
Often comes in original caramel, this TWIX variant will have you munch all four bars in an instant. Not too sweet and the quality is perfect.
Tempers are still flaring after the results of this year's election. Whatever the reasoning is, cooling off with a delicious TWIX sounds like the best way to go.
Because TWIX has released a peanut butter variant of their famous chocolate bars—cookie bars—and were always packaged in red. However, this time, this is labeled "NEW RECIPE" on the front, which likely integrates a new way preparing the peanut butter (possibly the whole bar itself).
I can't recall the taste of the previous variant, but with this "new recipe" being incorporated, I will say that the peanut butter taste and the cookie part are not only delicious but not as sweet as it was. The peanut butter is smooth and soft of melts in your mouth. The chocolate is good as always, and the cookie is crunchy and compliments the peanut butter well. Perhaps this "new recipe" surely lived up to its advertisement: it's a guilt-free cookie bar and one that's perfect for your school/work breaks.
Over the years, TWIX hasn't disappointed and these bars with the new recipe is no exception.
