When there's a food item for sale, we often jump to it. Yes, as embarrassing as it sounds, due to the positive feedback these cookies have had historically, this is our first time trying it. Spoiler alert: We loved it so much! Let's take a look at this great snack by Lotus. Because there are many different product releases for this brand, this is the six "snack pack" version of Biscoff. For that, let's take a look!
This product features each cookie measuring a little over three inches long and are packaged individually featuring two in each pack. As for the packaging, this may turn some people off since there are those that dislike individual packaging, but to each their own as it's not much of a concern for us. Anyway, upon eating, the taste was familiar but never remembered trying this back then. The cookie is crisp and taste isn't too strong in terms of sweetness. We tasted a little cinnamon in the cookie as well and that, too, wasn't strong. Some people love and enjoy strong flavors but in all honesty, it didn't deter us from eating it, let alone our rating for this snack. As you can tell from the Nutritional Facts, it contains less than 100 calories per pack. This isn't to say, nor recommend, that you eat the entire package in one sitting, but even if you did, you shouldn't feel "weird" nor guilty eating it. It tastes wonnderful and makes a great treat as a stand-alone snack or complimenting your meal(s) or whatever main course(s) you're having. We heard that these snacks were served in flights, back when people were fed up eating peanuts during their trip. We're not sure if that's true as we haven't traveled by plane in years.
There aren't much left to say, nor any critiques we have about this product as it tastes good and makes a great treat for work or school. If you're one of those, this is great to snack on while you're working or attending class; Just be sure not to make a mess while you're at it. That's about all we can say for this. Oh, and yes, there are other products and even a Biscoff spread available at your local supermarket, but this was one we enjoyed the most.
Highly recommended! Give these a try! Thank you so much, Lotus!
