Great Value™ Hot Cheese Crunch (Gluten Free)

These secondary, "off" brands can bring in surprises at a nominal price. Depending on who you ask, we feel it's worth a try, and so how does talking about hot crunchy cheese snacks sound? This brand is sold and offered at your local, friendly Walmart.
Upon opening the bag, you're greeted with a healthy amount of pieces that fill nearly the entire bag. The taste? It has a very contrast-y flavor to it. The best way to describe that is the spices don't taste too sharp, to where your tongue (yes, it's spelled "tongue," not "tounge") doesn't feel like it was in contact with a razor blade. Although, yes, some people love that sharp taste where it wakes your taste buds up, only ready to be showered in some milk or beer to ease the hot flavors. The heat on these aren't as overwhelming, which may be a good or a bad thing. For the crunch curls themselves, they're tender to the teeth. The other, more popular, brand features crunchy curls that are more rigid, making that "haggwwwk" sound when you, or someone, firmly bite on the pieces upon ingestion. These aren't as rigid, and are a little bit easier on the teeth to munch. Some prefer the harder texture of the crunch, some may prefer these crunchy, but more tender, type of chips. Oh, and for those on the picky side when making food choices, yes, this is gluten-free.
Sound good? We hope so, because these bags being sold for less than $2 ought to make your wallet/purse smile. Whether you need a snack to munch on while watching your favorite sports/film, holding a small/moderate party at your place, a treat to bring to a potluck and/or using hot crunchy cheese curls as an ingredient, we feel this should fit the bill. The sodium content sits at 250mg, about 50mg more than Granny Goose's Blazin' Hot, so if you will use this on a recipe, be wary of your salt additions as this brings in enough.
