Stubb's Sticky Sweet Legendary Bar-B-Q Sauce

Truly a barbecue sauce that impresses, recommending diners to carry and dine with this even in public.

Because of how stingy fast food workers are when providing condiments, the best tip is buying your own bottle. This is the best, yet obvious, decision we made; and you're looking at the sauce we went for: Stubb's. Very good, now we don't have to worry about uptight fast food employees not providing, or giving exactly one packet, of barbecue sauce after receiving our order. (Come on now, if you hate your job, please consider another line of work. Bad attitudes are not welcoming to customers, especially in businesses specializing in food.)

Applying this sauce onto our chicken sandwiches, which we tasted off of, was a treat. That lucious, semi-thick sauce pouring out the bottle knowing that my chicken sandwich was going to taste a hundred times better than eating it by itself. Right we were: The taste is smoky and sweet as advertised. That "sticky" part comes from the tangy, savory part, yielding that "lip smackin'" goodness that barbecue sauce lovers expect. Of course, you can apply this on any main course you want, not just chicken sandwiches which we tried on, for that smoky sweetness that compliments your dish. In our case, given that we have this entire bottle, we can apply it and eat as much as we want; something we advise everyone to do, even if you have to carry and bring this out in public. Who cares if the fast food workers give you a weird stare for having your own sauce? It's like you're indirectly calling them out on their stinginess in not providing enough condiments with your order, so you simply pick this bottle up, carry it, take it out and dine your meals with it. If you're at a restaurant, you may as well bring your own utensils too, if you're ever concerned about possible contamination, poor handling of plates, glasses and more.

Stubb's also has a variety of other sauce flavors; this one we tried and reviewed is on the sweet side. Other variants are hickory bourbon, spicy, jalapeño and honey, and sweet heat to name a few. This sweet sauce does not have a spicy kick, hence the flavor, so be sure to find one that will satisfy your taste(buds).

Purchasing a sauce bottle like this made us feel welcome to Stubb's, knowing that we'll be happy with our meals having this around. If a fast food worker made you feel uncomfortable, for fear that their bad attitude has spewed onto your food, grab a bottle of Stubb's and apply this on your meal(s). We know you'll feel welcome somewhere else, in this case, with Stubb, and the taste of your food(s) will guarantee you happiness. Thank you so much for making us feel welcome, Stubb; food brings people together.

Stubb loved a good road trip. Sometimes he'd cook up a bunch of food, load it into his Cadillac and head east to Memphis or Nashville. Then he'd find out who was playing a gig that night, show up and turn his Bar-B-Q into a backstage pass. Along the way, he picked up some sweet southern Bar-B-Q traditions — ones you'll taste in every drop of his sauce.
