Nissin BIG Cup Noodles
Being that there might be too much salt for those willing to try, the noodles on this soup holds up and makes for a nice choice for lunch at work or school.
Noodles rule. I can never resist a nice bowl of noodles. However, when my colds hit me, I quickly grabbed this to ease my sickness and gave it a taste. It wasn't long when I finished the whole thing with satisfaction.
As you can tell, this is the bigger cup version of Nissin's noodles. Although there are more noodles, it also makes room for a lot of soup as well. Some people don't eat the soup entirely because, firstly, that's where all the spices pile up and eating it all would be too much salt to take in. Secondly, in relation to cereal, folks eat the contents and take the soup for granted as it is just a source for warmth and flavor.
I decided to try the microwave method. The contents and preparation still makes it hot but delicious. However, I'm still recommending the dutch oven method—boil water on the pot then pour the hot water in the cup, and letting it sit until the noodles are tender. With the label indicating that the noodles are"spoonable," this means that you can use your spoon and be able to scoop in the noodles without them falling off. The taste is generally very good and can enable you to add a little bit of red chili pepper flakes and/or using Chicken Broth instead of water. If you like, you can also add one scrambled egg in the soup, stirring in one direction to have a succulent egg drop-style soup. When adding more spices, be easy on it since this soup, overall, is very salty (see sodium content above). Those taking it easy on their salt consumption may see their face get puffy due to high saltiness.
Besides the incredibly salty contents, I think you'll enjoy this unique product. Once again, during this writing, Winter season is approaching so get on those soups before they're sold out.
- Delicious taste and a large amount of noodles for a simple soup cup.
- As with most ramen soup products, this one is a little overboard on the sodium.
